Remote Event Coordinator

Are you a creative and detail-oriented person who loves to celebrate life milestones? Do you have experience in client service, event planning and sales? Do you thrive in fast-paced and changing environments where you’ll be constantly learning (we’re talking fire hose level learning)? Does playing a pivotal role in people’s once-in-a-lifetime celebrations sound exciting to you?

At Balloon Artisan, we are passionate about taking our clients' events to a whole new level through unique and unforgettable balloon decorations. As a Remote Event Coordinator, you will be working directly with our clients to plan their dream balloon project for their events then working with our creative team to fulfill that project (No prior balloon decor experience is required).

Responsibilities:

‍You will be responding to inbound leads (phone calls, emails and social media messages), coordinating project details (phone, email and zoom), guiding the client through our design process and helping oversee our creative team as they bring your vision to life.You will be responsible for keeping each project organized using a variety of software tools and documenting lessons learned as you go.

Qualifications:

‍• You will be on the computer all day, you must be tech literate and able to learn new software quickly.

• Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Passionate about event planning and design.

• Enthusiastic about life and being part of a larger vision.

• A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Creative and able to think outside the box.

• Willing to learn and potentially fail in the process.

• Able to communicate clearly and give detailed instructions.

• Able to work with a team to accomplish goals.

Job Details:

‍Starting pay will be a base salary of $50,000 + tips + performance-based monthly bonuses. Tips will bump your pay up 25%-35% on average (The better you are at servicing clients and the more projects you close, the more you will earn). Bonuses will increase your wage anywhere from 15%-80%. The OTE (On Target Earnings) for this position range between $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

You’ll work 40-47 hours per week (depending on how many events you have going on).

Your main work day will be 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST (You will have some early morning and late evening events. You don't have to be clocked in and working for those but you do need to be reachable during the times you have events.)

You will need to be responsive to phone calls, emails and text messages on the weekends and outside of business hours to answer questions for our creative team and help troubleshoot if needed.

This position is 100% remote work
